Our legislature failed to agree upon raising the cigarette tax by fifty cents in South Carolina, leaving our state at the abysmally, humilitating, lowest rate in the nation of just seven cents per pack. Wow. Another body blow to all who want to improve living conditions in South Carolina. Well, like I always said when I lived in Chicago and cheered for the Cubs, there's always next year.
The World Health Organisation agrees that Tobacco causes disease. World No Tobacco Day is May 31. Let's support them!!
