Instructions for Pollen Avoidance

POLLEN AVOIDANCE

· Keep windows closed at all times. Opening windows will allow outside pollen to enter your home and settle on your floors and your furniture.

· Clean and replace furniture and air conditioner filters regularly.

· Avoid exercising outdoors especially during the early morning hours when pollen counts are at their highest.

· Use a clothes dryer instead of drying your clothes outside. Clothes outside will collect pollen.

· Take a shower, wash your hair and change your clothes after being outside to remove pollen and to prevent the pollen from getting on your furniture and in your bed.

· Wear a pollen mask when doing yard work.

· Keep landscaping around your home neat and tidy, as pollen will settle on weeds and other debris.

· Needless to say, convertibles and motorcycles are out.
