When is the Best Time of the Day to Avoid Pollen?

Great question if you suffer from allergies, but want to go outside. A lot of patients ask me this. My review of the medical literature, books and journal articles, does not show a consistent answer. First very few studies have been done. The few that have been done were not in the same place geographically, sometimes not even on the same continent. Different pollens measured in some studies: trees, grasses, or weeds. There is no consistent answer. I can not verify common lay wisdom that the morning is when the counts are the lowest.
