2009 Centers for Disease Control Recommendations for Vaccinations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, together with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Practice, has approved the following schedules for Immunizations from 0-6 years of age and from 7-18 years of age.

For adults, the
unified schedule is here. The recommendations in this schedule were approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the American College of Physicians (ACP).

It is great that the organizations agreed on a common schedule. This did not used to be the case, which caused confusion. I agree with the schedules. Keep a copy of all of the vaccinations for everyone in your family!! If you have questions, ask your doctor...
