More good news for allergy sufferers. Actually I should have apologized first to my readers, since I dropped the ball. I read about this two months ago. A generic equivalent for Xyzal 5 mg tablets was approved by the FDA on November 17, 2010. Note this not every form of Xyzal yet. This leaves Clarinex as the only antihistamine drug not available in any form currently. I expect insurance formularies to begin to adjust which tier they place Xyzal in the near future.
