World Asthma Day is an annual awareness-raising event organized and sponsored by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA). For more information please visit World Asthma Day. This year, it is on May 4, 2010.
The first World Asthma Day was celebrated in 1999. Since then, World Asthma Day has been celebrated annually on the first Tuesday in May. Next year, the date is May 3, 2011.
My office did a lung screening for asthma at the Climb Greenville event on 4/10/10. If you or a loved one has asthma, take care of it please!
