1. The number of confirmed cases continues to rise world-wide, including in the U.S.
2. Only one death still has been reported in the U.S. Small comfort.
3. In neighboring North Carolina, 2 cases have been confirmed.
4. The number of confirmed cases in South Carolina is 13 now, per the State's data. The CDC's data may not reflect this yet.
5. No cases have been confirmed in the Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson areas per my checking to date.
